Responsibilities
  • Functions as an Ambassador for Homecare services by identifying and developing relationships with individuals responsible for care coordination of clients.

  • This position is responsible to inform and engage regarding each of the opportunities Intermountain Homecare has to enable appropriate care and healing in patient home care setting.

  • Makes regular visits to physician's offices, clinics, hospitals, and other community referral sources.

  • Functions as an Ambassador for Homecare services by identifying and developing relationships with individuals responsible for care coordination of clients.

  • Maintains knowledge of current services, regulations, etc.

  • Complies with all regulatory standards.

  • Provides expert knowledge of Homecare business lines and services to referral sources.

  • Promotes and educates health care decision makers regarding Homecare capabilities.

  • Ensures prompt troubleshooting, problem solving and process resolution.

  • Coordinates with Homecare Marketing Department. Maintains knowledge of Care Managers & Coordinators within health care facilities.

  • Maintains knowledge of community and other resources.

  • Utilizes effective communication skills with all customers/co-workers in a timely, concise, clear, and positive manner.

  • Informs client/staff of scheduling changes.

  • Teaches clients and families on their individual level.

  • Provides accurate and timely documentation.

  • Communicates with appropriate manager regarding complicated referrals.

  • Maintains professionalism in conversations with patient, families, staff, physicians and pay source companies.

  • Communicates staff and patients concerns/issues to appropriate personnel.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum Requirements

  • Current RN licensure
  • Three years health care experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and prioritize and perform detailed work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills
  • Physical Requirements Hearing, Listening, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Speaking, Standing and Walking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • One year of experience in home health or hospice
  • Insurance or other third-party payer experience
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Prior marketing experience
  • Prior sales experience
