System Architect (Consulting)

**Role Overview:** * As a member of our Services Engineering team, you will work directly with customers, advising them on requirements and best practices to achieve scale and performance of Intapp's products running in real-world scenarios under load. * Ultimately, you are successful if customers' system architectures result in a high-performance and satisfying product experience. * You live at the convergence of software and infrastructure, bridging the gap between development and IT. * The ideal candidate will already be a seasoned system architect, with hands-on experience in high volume applications and scalable systems. * You will have significant experience with performance profiling and monitoring tools, primarily in Windows Server environments. * You are knowledgeable about virtualization, resource allocation and how to identify contention or bottlenecks. * You will be expected to have outstanding technical and communication skills. * And you'll need to be adaptable, with an ability to rapidly learn new products and technologies. **Role Responsibilities:** - Work with customers to identify system architecture requirements and recommendations - Troubleshoot software and infrastructure performance issues and advise on solutions - Improve internal services tools and methodologies for more efficiently resolving challenging performance, scale, and load issues - Feedback learnings to Intapp's R&D teams to continuously improve products to be more deployable and performant

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant IT field - 5 years of experience in system architecture and infrastructure topology - Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V product suites, with specific emphasis on resource allocation and performance troubleshooting tools and techniques - Experience with the Microsoft Server environment, including performance monitoring and tracing tools, application administration and monitoring, and SQL Server profiling and tuning - Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network, firewall, DMZ and reverse proxy issues. - Experience guiding clients through complex issues with consultative approach that assures the customer that Intapp will help them get the maximum benefit and peak performance from all of Intapp's applications. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to clearly articulate technical data and issues in a straightforward and concise manner
