Intern - Agriculture Promotion and Outreach, Indiana Farm Bureau Incorporated

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has protected fellow Hoosiers since 1934. Organized by Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc., our family of companies has grown to include insurance products for auto, life, home, business and farm. Banking and other financial services and products are also available.

This internship will involve working with activities that enhance consumer understanding of modern agriculture; organization, marketing and implementation of events such as the Indiana State Fair, Taste from Indiana Farms, and Young Farmer Summer Social; develop materials associated with Our Food Link and Ag Day activities and other outreach and educational programs; and working with member volunteers and INFB staff during the Indiana State Fair.

• Any college student in their junior through senior year is encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and organizational skills are required.
• Understanding and experience with multiple forms of social media is preferable.
• Applicant should be self-motivated, creative with attention to detail.
• An agricultural background is preferred but not required.
