Senior Account Director and Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President

The incumbent performs critical functions to support the Senior Vice President’s activities in all areas relating to client management. 1) The position assists the Senior Vice President in ensuring superior client service and (2) manages special projects as directed by the Senior Vice President.
The ideal candidate will have superior project management skills and should takes pride in completing all tasks and projects, regardless of size and scope. This role represents an excellent opportunity to utilize advanced client management skills, executive management and leadership skills in a fast-paced, innovative company. The incumbent will interface with the clients and staff and manage project deliverables as assigned.
- Supports Senior Vice President’s efforts to ensure superior client services.
- Ensures strategic collaboration with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Prepares background information or materials as necessary; assists with research, content development and creation of presentations.
- Prepares written materials, edits and proofreads written materials for content consistency as directed.
- Develop and maintain highly productive and strategic external relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization in Northern California.
- Supervise Sacramento office.
- Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field desired.
- 8-12 years of professional work experience.
- Experience as a Chief of Staff to an elected official, high level government or private sector executive.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
- Experience working on political campaigns, in the California State Legislature, a state agency, local government or similar fast paced intense environment highly desired.
- Must be a team player and able to lead teams in a collaborative fashion.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, be extremely well-organized, manage time effectively and identify resources for projects.
- Able to work comfortably with high-level private and public sector executives.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be discrete, high-energy, agile-minded, strategic, proactive, a direct communicator, highly-organized and committed to the vision and values of Imprenta Communications Group.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years professional work experience.
- Prior experience in a similar role in the public or private sector.

Additional Notes on Compensation
$5,300 - $7,250 per month. Imprenta offers excellent benefits, including paid vacation, medical, dental and profit sharing
