The Advertising Sales Coordinator Intern will work within the Advertising Sales Department and is responsible for sales/client support. This position will be a key resource within the ad sales team and will work cross-functionally with several departments including: Client Services, Marketing and Business Development. Clients include major retail, hospitality, auto and B to B companies, and advertising agencies. Our goal is to find and develop a Sales Coordinator Intern who can be transitioned to a full-time coordinator.
- Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and book catering as needed.
- Update and maintain team’s calendar and sales contacts and leads.
- Draft and process travel, entertainment and business expenses on a timely basis
- Assist when appropriate in preparation and drafting of proposals and presentations.
- Ad-hoc projects that arise for the team
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a focus on marketing or sales, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and be organized and detail oriented.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in successfully communicating verbally and in writing to all levels of employees.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment.
