The Account Executive, will act as a broker/agency responsible for consultative selling of integrated marketing solutions of both IDG and external partners. An expeditiously growing division of IDG that is focused toward representing business development and marketing services from small to medium sized companies. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to creative solution selling into any marketing space.
The sales role and responsibilities include meeting/exceeding sales objectives, managing the accounts, developing a deep understanding of each client’s needs and the ability to sell integrated marketing solutions to assist with those objectives. Will be designing and implementing strategic marketing plans for clients to develop mind share across verticals.
The ideal candidate will have strong presentation, writing, critical thinking and negotiation skills. This position will also collaborate with IDG’s sales counterparts to ensure the best results for IDG’s clients and work closely with account services to insure all of the accounts are well served.
- 1-2 years of inside sales experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast paced sales environment and be a team player
Desired Skills:
- Integrated media/marketing sales to clients and agencies
- Strong understanding of trends in media advertising including mobile, social and custom
- The ability to create sales solutions and validate results
- Bachelor’s degree
- Salesforce.com experience
