Senior Real Estate Analyst of Investment Sales on Multi-Housing

Reporting directly to a Senior Executive of the firm, this position will assist in the marketing and placement of commercial real estate.
- Perform complex financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel.
- Coordinate information regarding market data, occupancy data, expense analysis, aerials, maps, rent/sales, and comparables.
- Prepare commercial real estate sales packages and submissions for presentations to buyers.
- Create disposition timeline and manage the production process to ensure that all of the critical dates on the timeline are met.
- Review all marketing materials for accuracy, spelling, and punctuation.
- Review draft prior to sending it to the client for their approval and then review final before it's sent out to the market.
- Respond to buyer questions regarding properties and the overall commercial real estate market.
- Collect offers during offer period. Enter information into offer summary spreadsheet and send to seller. Send best and final letters.
- Manage and facilitate the due diligence to close process of the sales transaction - act as single point of contact between seller and buyer to disseminate due diligence information, set up all property inspections for buyer and third party vendors (appraisal, environment, PCA, etc.), track critical dates, and interact with title company.
- Create and send weekly marketing update reports to clients.
- Collect monthly operating statements and rent rolls on all active listings from clients, and prepare revenue trend reports for internal review.
- Update and maintain sales comparables for all markets utilizing multiple information services to industry sources.
- Set up new properties on our web-based internal database and update status, dates, etc. throughout the deal process.
- Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions, and make recommendations.
Experience Required
- 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis environment in the mortgage or commercial real estate industry.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to interface with top level executives.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with a team player attitude.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Office 2010 version).
- Argus is not required but considered a plus.
- Database experience a plus
Environment
- Office – work with computers, copiers, and scanners.
