Summary

We have a rewarding opportunity for experienced accounting professional, in the role of Staff Accountant you will provide accurate and relevant financial accounting information in a timely manner for Holiday Retirement and its related business entities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and properly document journal entries.
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts and various financial analyses, as assigned.
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Assist with documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Prepare and track accruals and accrual entries.
  • Assist in preparation of audit schedules/packages.
  • Work on special assignments, as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in accounting is required.
  • Some work experience in financial accounting preferred.
  • Possess a working knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to independently develop and complete projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet departmental deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computer use and relevant software applications.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver the "Holiday Touch" 100% of the time.
  • Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
