Graphic Designer

The HOK San Francisco office is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating and implementing graphic imagery and information graphics for use on marketing and office projects for a variety of clients and building types. • Participates in marketing efforts with marketing manager and marketing coordinators.
• Provides hands-on production.
• Interfaces with marketing team, principals and practice leaders on project needs.
• Assist in the development of and maintenance of marketing resources and materials including brochures, graphic assets, icon bank, and photographs.
• Assist in the coordination and assembly of materials for client presentations and interviews, in accordance with Corporate Image Program and Desk Top Publishing Guidelines.
• Assist in the maintenance of project and office personnel data; assures that resume file information is current and appropriate.
• Assist in group mail-outs; maintains mailing lists.
• Assist with the coordination of work with outside vendors (electronic transfer of data, reprographics, binding, etc.)
• Coordinates services of outside graphics and reprographic vendors for marketing purposes.
• Assist with conference/seminar presentation.
• May participate in project photography as needed.
• May participate in marketing efforts with other senior staff.

Required Skills

• High-level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of Premier Pro, Flash, HTML, Sketch Up or After Effects a plus.
• Knowledge about design elements, such as color and composition, typography and information design
• Must possess design talent, creative energy and organizational skills.
• Ability to anticipate, identify and troubleshoot problems and recognize alternative actions.
• Ability to provide excellent, consistent service to internal and external clients in a supportive and professional manner.
• Ability to manage and effectively meet multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment and must possess good interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic or Design required.
• 3 plus years of related experience in with graphic design and production
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
