Senior Java Web Developer

In 1970, entrepreneurs David and Barbara Green, along with their young family, began making miniature picture frames in their garage. • Provide state of the art expertise in Java/J2EE Web Application Development technologies
• Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through peer led presentations
• Design, code, and test Java web applications, including eCommerce solutions
• Consult closely with management and other departments related to projects and tasks
• Demonstrate ability to manage all phases of a project
• Prepare all appropriate user and technical documentation for assigned development projects
• Provide end-user production support for in-house developed as well as purchased software including after-hours support scheduled on a rotating basis with other developers

• 5+ years success delivering software design and development projects using Java/J2EE technologies
• Solid understanding of HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Strong Java background and expertise in related technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, JSTL, etc.
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
• Familiar with relational database design
• Experience in web services and public website development
• Skilled in a source control system, preferably Git
• Must work effectively with other team members in design, development and implementation
• 1-2 years of experience as a eCommerce developer
• 1-2 years of experience as a team lead on eCommerce or CMS implementations
• Knowledge of web-related technologies and frameworks, such as AJAX and jQuery
• Experience in payment processing, CDN technologies, recommendation engines, SEO
• Designing and create services to external systems using C# .NET, JAVA, SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2
• Experience in JBOSS, JGROUPS, Tomcat, Apache, etc.
• Degree in MIS or Computer Science
