Junior .NET Developer

In 1970, entrepreneurs David and Barbara Green, along with their young family, began making miniature picture frames in their garage. A few years later, on August 3, 1972, the Green family opened the first Hobby Lobby store with a mere 300 square feet of retail space. Hobby Lobby has not stopped growing since.

We are in search of an enthusiastic and self-motivated C# developer with 2 to 4 years of academic or work experience with a passion for building great software and the ability to work in an energetic and interactive environment.

• Build and maintain systems with C# .NET/ASP.NET MVC/SQL Server/WCF Services
• Share knowledge through peer led knowledge-sharing presentations
• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• The ability to take a project from start to finish
• Prepare all appropriate user and technical documentation for assigned development projects
• Provide end-user production support for in-house developed and purchased software including after hours support scheduled on a rotating basis with other developers

• Involvement with Visual Studio 2012/2013 .NET development environment
• Familiarity with C# and the .NET framework
• ASP .NET MVC Experience - preferably MVC 4 and the Razor view engine
• Knowledge of web related technologies and frameworks such as AJAX and jQuery
• Degree in MIS or computer science
