The Retail Recruiter is a collaborative team player who works closely with the Lead Recruiter to proactively identify, assess and attract talent for our rapidly expanding fleet of retail stores. The Retail Recruiter achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising hiring managers, overseeing the organization's internal promotion/transfer program and other hiring initiatives which will contribute to the continued growth of the organization.
- Work with the Lead Recruiter to implement and execute hiring strategy for open requisitions
- Collaborate with the hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and goals
- Work closely with internal recruiting team to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies to create appropriate candidate flow and pipeline to meet overall recruiting goals
- Identify potential and priority candidates through the internal resume database, candidate referrals, networking, and web sourcing
- Call, screen, and interview candidates and assist them through the recruitment process
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and salary range
- Drive offer process - including extending offers, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
- Act as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers and facilitate interviews and hiring discussions for all parties
- Seek out assignments and responsibility in areas that are new (stretch assignments)

- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
- 5+ years recruiting or sourcing experience for a search firm or in-house recruiting team
- Exceptional interviewing, communication, organizational and a passion for finding exceptional people
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with all clients including internal recruiters, hiring managers and candidates
- Must demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and possess a sense of urgency to achieve objectives and exceed expectations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must have a desire to learn and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements
- Physical Requirements
General office environment requiring ability to:
- stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
- use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- lift up to 15 lbs.
