Full Stack Engineer

We operate in all major US cities and several locations in Canada and Europe, but we are just getting started.

We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer to join one of New York’s fastest growing companies. You'll be working in a fast-paced, fun environment, where your work will have a tremendous impact on daily operations and long term strategy. The ideal candidate has experience building web applications and the ability to learn and apply new technologies.

• Ensure our customers receive the best web experience possible
• Make a difference - we’re empowering real people to improve their lives while disrupting the home services industry
• Write maintainable code at lightning speed
• Work on our high traffic products and infrastructure
• Participate in code reviews, create and practice coding and design standards

• 3+ years of experience with backend development: PHP, Python, Java, etc. (bonus points for Ruby on Rails).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript
• A few years of experience working at a growth-stage startup
• Ability to work among multiple teams and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical teammates
• Flexibility to work within a rapidly evolving environment
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies and skills
