Environmental Designer

We collaborate, design, build and execute events and environments at trade shows, events, museums and retail environments.

We hire the smart, the passionate, the creative, and the bold; the Environmental Designer will be no exception. You will partner with the senior creative team on concept generation and inspired design development of three-dimensional, graphic and other treatments for trade show, event, interactive media, and permanent installation projects. • Brainstorm and develop big idea creative with the senior staff and other creative team members
• Rapid sketch abilities for initial idea generation
• Quickly, cleanly and accurately generate environmental design ideas in plan and three dimensions
• Model, render and iterate the 3D files independently and with the direction of senior staff
• Use knowledge of environmental, media and graphic design to create concepts that embrace, address, and express the possibilities of an integrated marketing environment
• Jump seamlessly between projects, keep files and shared project assets organized and up to date and focused on creating compelling work within specified timelines
• Solid graphic design skills are a bonus, but not a deal breaker

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience developing branded or museum experiences in an agency environment
• Fluent in CAD, 3D modeling and photo realistic rendering (preferably with Cinema 4D and Vectorworks)
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Positive attitude toward colleagues and outside vendors
• High level of interest, involvement and enthusiasm
