The Group Delphi Account Director (AD) ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction and engagement with one or more of Group Delphi’s largest and complex clients. The Account Director manages a team of Account Managers driving this customer satisfaction and engagement. The Account Director is the central and senior point of communication between Group Delphi and our clients. The Account Director coordinates the communication between internal staff, clients and external on-site resources to produce projects that exceed our clients’ expectations. The Account Director communicates across all Group Delphi departments to produce and execute their aspect of the project in a timely manner.
Manage Customer Satisfaction
- Understand short term and long term customer requirements. Oversee teams writing proposals and contracts. Oversee teams turning contracts into work orders
- Identify growth opportunities
- Maintain high level of communication with the client. Communicate broadly within Group Delphi new and updated needs
- Delight customer and meet their business needs during visits to Group Delphi offices or at an installation
Execute to Customer Delight
- Oversee the team hiring and coordinating show services. Supervise the creation and management of client’s master show schedule
- Communicate to the internal team and to the client critical steps and dates. Monitor work order ship dates to ensure timely delivery. Troubleshoot product, service and logistical problems and other emergencies as they arise
- Supervise the team coordinating Installation and Dismantle (I&D) providers, Group Delphi supervisor (if applicable) and any critical vendors to plan the installation process.
- Facilitate work with the I&D provider and Group Delphi supervisor (if applicable) to understand the steps of the installation process and the equipment and personnel needed to accomplish the installation in a safe, timely and cost effective manner

- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and budgets
- Leadership ability; the skills to manage an account team
- Ability to communicate with all levels of client management effectively and professionally
- Ability to solve problems independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to perform well, individually and as part of a team
- Working knowledge in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) and high comfort level with the Internet and an understanding of the purpose and function of Intranets/Extranets/Portals
- Minimum of 5 years of trade show or event management or related sales support experience preferred
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent organization skills
- Strong and persuasive communication and presentation skills
