Senior User Experience

Granular’s mission is to power the world’s smartest, most efficient farms.

You will work primarily on AcreValue, a free farmland real estate site offered by Granular (think “Zillow for Farmland”) that only recently launched this year - think “startup within a startup”. As the sole designer, you will have a major impact on the direction of this very early stage product, which has the potential to attract one of the largest online audiences in the agriculture industry.

* Deliver full stack design across UX (user research, wireframing, prototyping) and UI (visual high fidelity assets) for a fully responsive consumer site (no native app) * Think in design systems that support short, medium, and a long-term increase in functional components * Collaborate with product and engineering to define requirements and compromise where necessary - this is a small and highly collaborative team! * Create detailed, engineering-vetted process flows for complicated components

* Extensive experience designing for consumer websites - SEO, conversion funnels, responsive design, etc. Some enterprise experience a plus. * Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight * Highly reliable and efficient - you are known to always deliver your work on time and exceed expectations * Familiarity with a range of modern design tools * Excellent verbal communication skills * Familiarity with the overall structure of modern web and application development. Experience with front-end programming (HTML CSS or Javascript) a plus * 6+ years designing for digital products
