GLG is looking for a writer to join its marketing and communications team to help drive our brand and business forward, as the world’s premiere professional learning. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with exceptional writing and editing talents, who will be tasked with producing a wide array of press and thought leadership materials as well as general marketing copy for the web and social media.
- Help develop, author and edit a wide-range of communications and marketing materials such as memos, press releases, talking points, web copy, social media posts, opinion pieces and speeches;
- Help develop and implement strategic communication and media relations initiatives and programs;
- Integrate GLG’s mission, vision, strategy and values into an internal and external communication strategy;
- Assist with creation of the internal communication plans to ensure content covers all strategic business objectives, company brand, culture, mission and values; and
- Work with media and senior GLG executives including the CEO.
- Exceptional writing;
- Exceptional verbal communication skills;
- Creative, energetic, extremely detail-oriented;
- Some experience (6 months - 2 years) in communications/writing role at an agency or in a corporate, government, political or consultancy environment preferred;
- Developed or emerging business acumen;
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
