As a successful Sales Representative you must have strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize. You must display leadership through exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
- 50% - Solicit new business and maintain current business levels in order to achieve or exceed sales goals.
- 50% - Enhances insurance agency’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Required behaviors for all positions:
- Communicate with co-workers, management customers, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Conform with and abide by all Company codes, regulations, policies, values, work procedures and instructions
- Adherence to company attendance policy
- Established tenure preferred
Education: High School diploma, Degree preferred but not required. Active P&C License required
Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience, insurance agency sales experience is a plus. 2-3 years of customer service call center experience
Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization, including Sr. Management; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment; excellent organizational and time management skills; excellent presentation skills and prior experience in making presentations to executive management.
Other: Bilingual (English/Spanish) beneficial
Office Equipment and Software: Computer, e-sign Live, MS windows suite, any CRM software, Adobe.
Decision Making: Develops options by which work can be accomplished; sets priorities and standards of performance.
Interpersonal Communication: Interacts with customers over the phone
