FuseFX is an award winning visual effects studio that provides visual effects services for film, television, commercials, games, and special venues.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop in-house database solutions and APIs
- Maintain feature requests and troubleshooting tickets
- Assist in defining database structure with a focus on speed and efficiency
- Work with management and department heads to come up with solutions to complex issues.
Ideal Candidate
- 5 years experience with SQL-based database development and web site development
- Strong knowledge of relational database design
- HTML / CSS / JavaScript programming
- Good design skills with a focus on efficiency and user experience
- Knowledge of Python and PHP scripting languages
- Familiarity with Image file formats including JPG, DPX, EXR, QuickTime
- Experience with AppleScript and command-line statements
- BA degree or equivalent
- FileMaker database development experience
- Certified FileMaker developer
- Knowledge of FileMaker plug-ins and their use when applicable

- Experience with multi-site database synchronization
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of networking and storage systems
- Experience developing OS X and Windows database applications
