We are looking for a Social Media Intern who will be responsible for supporting the Communications team. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, digital entertainment, and the world of social media influencers. The candidate would also have a proven track record of completing projects efficiently to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization. This is a part-time unpaid internship position with a flexible schedule.
- Write daily, interactive social media content
- Data entry of social media analytics for Fullscreen
- Participate in brainstorms around social media campaigns and content
- Research both trending and awesome videos within our network to share via social networks
- Help develop and own a project from start to finish
- Interact with the social community and assist Fullscreen in building a brand presence
- Assist with daily engagement across all social media platforms
- Must be taking the internship for course credit and can provide a letter of verification OR you are taking the internship as a learning enhancement and can provide a letter of recommendation from a current college professor/staff member
- Must be in the Los Angeles area, have reliable transportation and working phone
- Must own a laptop
- Short-term interns (e.g., less than a quarter or semester participation) are generally prohibited
- A deep interest in online video (specifically YouTube) and social media
- Experience using major social media platforms including: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, Vine, Tumblr and Google+
- Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills required
- Basic working knowledge of Google Drive and Gmail
- Be a self-starter with a strong desire to create something unique while growing personally and professionally
- Solid understanding and avid user of all social media platforms
Bonus Points if:
- You have basic knowledge of Photoshop and Final Cut (but not required)
