Senior Database Developer

FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging products and medical informatics solutions to meet the needs of healthcare facilities today and well into the future.

This position will let you work not only on improving our current product with the latest web technologies but also being part of a team that is building an entirely new platform for our Synapse product for not just radiology but to include cardiology and other imaging modalities and suite of products.

For starters, you’ll be working on our Synapse Cardiovascular product where you will be a hands-on database developer writing stored procedures, schemas, changing schema objects, normalizing, debugging issues on the front end and down to the database level.

And just when you think you’d like a little something more to do you will be doing a little performance tuning and optimization for peak performance because you love a challenge and want to figure out what locks up and how that can be fixed.

Just in case that isn’t enough to challenge you, did we mention that we’d love for you to have some experience with C++ or C# and some .Net so you can do some middle level development on the database.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field such as engineering, mathematics, or science)

• 8-10 years of Database programming experience with Oracle (we won’t complain if you have SQL as well).

• Object-oriented programming using C++ or C# for Windows platforms.

• NET Framework.

• Familiarity with WCF, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, Javascript, HTML, Ajax, HTML5 is a plus

• Healthcare experience and knowledge of Cardiovascular PACS highly desired.
