Summary

The Replenishment team is responsible for ensuring that inventory is available at the right time, the right place and right quantity so our customers are served in a timely manner. The Replenishment Analyst is assigned to a number of suppliers and fully responsible for the day by day interaction related to purchase orders, pricing, reverse logistics and any other potential exceptions.

Responsibilities
  • Daily management of purchase orders for the assigned supplier base
  • Create and modify purchase orders for all departments
  • Adjust order volumes based on buy-in opportunities, vendor stock issues, seasonal fluctuations
  • Follow up with vendors on product deliveries, out of stock issues, pricing issues
  • Schedule goods pickups and returns with vendors
  • Ensure products are received timely and accurately
  • Validate vendor invoices to ensure correct purchasing price
  • Monitor and adjust selling prices based on overstocks, vendor specials, cost changes
  • Communicate with vendors regarding new products and changes to existing products
  • Ad-hoc Project Management
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Two (2) years of experience in a repetitive replenishment environment
  • Must pass FreshDirect’s pre-employment testing: background check and drug screening.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in Manufacturing / Distribution / Retail replenishment required
  • ERP based system experience is required
  • Advanced MS Office with strong proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Must possess excellent math analytical skills
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable juggling and coordinating multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment
  • Must be detail orientated with optimal organizational skills; with a focus on teamwork, project management and follow-up
  • Prior food experience or a passion for food and the food business ideal
  • SAP experience in queries and managing material master is preferred but will train
