Senior Software Engineer for Machine Learning

Flow is an API driven platform for e-commerce merchants to sell & ship globally from their own sites. Providing the entire supply chain merchants require from international payment methods to a multitude of shipping options and all aspects of the upstream site localization such as duty/tax calculation, local pricing rounding and product restrictions.

• Apply state of the art machine learning algorithms and tools for product classification and fulfillment route optimization
• Help our clients better navigate the world of international Customs
• Work with a modern cloud-based microservice architecture written in Scala and Play Framework and built on Docker

• 2+ years experience professional experience in machine learning
• 5+ years professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge in machine learning techniques such as classification,natural language processing, training and building training sets
• Java or Scala experience a plus
• M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science a plus
• Familiar with TensorFlow or other Machine Learning libraries
• Experience with Spark a plus
• Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Ability to solve open-ended problems in an elegant, scalable manner
• Self-motivation and an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
