Director of Marketing

We're looking for a wicked smart, driven and fun tech marketing professional or tech journalist. The ideal person will be able to develop and drive our marketing strategy in collaboration with our leadership and marketing team. We need a great communicator who can understand complex issues and deftly explain them in person as well as in well written collateral.
- Creating buzz for Flite (press coverage, crafting effective, go-to-market strategies, including identifying and pitching relevant press targets, writing press releases and more in order to cultivate exposure across influential audiences
- Building and evolving a thought-leadership platform in service of getting Flite driving conversations in the marketplace (through blog posts, bylines and other programs our people can participate in)
- Cultivating deep relationships with press and analysts to help keep Flite at top of mind in the digital advertising space
- Partnering with the CRO to identify and target opportunities to drive significant revenue through marketing channels
- Collaborating with our engineering, product, sales, and services teams to create compelling communications strategies that highlight the key benefits and features of our ad products
- Representing Flite as company spokesperson across all communication channels
- Generating marketing collateral and specific communications materials to demonstrate the sheer awesomeness of our products both online and offline (e.g., presentation decks, case studies, blogs, online communications, emails, newsletters, story pitches, press releases, website copy)
- BA/BS in Marketing or other relevant discipline
- 5-8 + years experience in tech advertising/marketing
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work within a cross-function team environment as well as directly with sales teams in creating innovative ideas for a premium clientele
- Deep understanding of the marketing tech space
- Experience managing an external PR team
- Grace under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Bonus Points for:
- Experience working for a SaaS and/or marketing tech platform company
- In-depth knowledge and strong relationships with the digital ad press corps
