Summary

Financial Additions has partnered with a premier real estate firm in their search for a Regional Controller. This position is over ½ of their currently owned properties and reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting

Responsibilities
  • To manage the day to day functions of the accounting department, ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial data to senior managers and ownership, enforce company policies, and safeguard company assets.
  • Oversee the management of the accounting department
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports timely and accurately
  • Oversee the annual budget process including, but not limited to, coordinating budget completion and review with department managers, compiling budget data into consolidated financial statements and management reports, and creating the annual business plan schedules for management/ownership
  • Work with SVP, Finance and Accounting to design and produce various management reporting tools
  • Develop and execute process and system improvements related to the accounting process
  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure an appropriate level of control over the Company’ s assets and financial records
  • Oversee annual audit process
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Accounting
  • 7 - 10 years of related experience
  • 5+ years in a management role
  • Strong Excel skills
