Software Quality Assurance - Engineer I San Jose New College Grad program

Work with modern software tools and architectures to leverage FICO’s analytics, decisioning, and/or optimization technologies to address business needs such as fraud detection and customer behavior modeling or provide consumer credit scores.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, EE, statistics, operations research or mathematics coupled with a record of strong academic achievement.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Significant coursework in computer science and demonstrated proficiency in at least one high-level object-oriented language (Java preferred).
• Proficient in web-based client and server software development
• Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Perl or Python
• Familiar with agile software development lifecycle and quality management
• Coursework or project-related work with RDBMS
• Proficiency in modeling tools such as SAS, R, S-PLUS, Model Builder and Matlab highly desirable
• Experience at large scale with non-sql databases, complex event processing, in-stream analytics, social network analysis, link analysis, and outlier detection modeling or unstructured data analysis is highly desirable.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, show initiative and respond quickly in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
