Inbound Logistics Analyst

On 10 June 2009, Chrysler emerged from the bankruptcy proceedings with the United Auto Workers pension fund, Fiat, and the U.S. and Canadian governments as principal owners.
The Inbound Logistics Analyst is responsible for designing and managing the inbound logistics design, cost and operational metrics for assembly and manufacturing plant(s) in FCA's North American supply chain network.
- The Logistics Analyst works closely with internal and external transportation suppliers and assigned plants ensuring timely delivery of parts to FCA facilities balancing end user requests, competitive cost and service provider performance.
- The Inbound Analyst acts as the liaison between the Inbound Logistics department, Assembly and Manufacturing Production Control,Lead Logistics providers (LLP's), transportation providers, other FCA supply chain management departments and the FCA supplier network.
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently
- Ability to effectively manage cross functional work teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- An advanced degree is preferred
- Finance background
