Summary

We're looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to develop and manage all marketing content across multiple mediums to communicate and reinforce company positioning, branding, and value propositions. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing communications programs and content (e.g. product copy, catalog copy, internal and external communications, sales collateral, packaging content, web content, promotional programs, public relations, videos, and social media content) to support company strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain a comprehensive Marketing Communications Plan that outlines goals, key corporate/product messages and communication vehicles to be leveraged * Oversee, develop, and manage all product related copy including product copy/descriptions, packaging copy, on-hold messages, and video scripts * Develop integrated content to support marketing communication objectives including catalog, packaging, website and blog content, collateral, presentations, sell sheets, newsletters, e-mails, press releases, advertising, editorial placements, white papers and case studies; creating audience specific messaging * Work with the Marketing team to support the execution of marketing programs and campaigns with targeted content for vehicles including social media, direct mail, email, webinars, events, and PR to drive revenue with existing customers as well as prospects * Support Sales team activities by identifying, prioritizing, and delivering new marketing communication deliverables Work cross functionally with Product Development, Marketing, and Creative Services teams to facilitate new products launches including product naming and supporting copy needs * Oversee the Company's presences on social media channels, including developing and managing the company voice in all content and messaging; manage media monitoring, measurement and analysis; reporting to internal stakehoIder * Provide oversight and editorial review of content provided by internal or external pa1tners * Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts while ensuring copy tone and style are consistent with brand requirements
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in related field (MBA preferred) * Minimum 5 years of professional writing experience in a corporate setting. * Proven strengths in translating business goals and strategies into actionable and measurable marketing communications campaigns * Creating audience specific messaging and content that connects, influences, and engages with versatile writing styles capturing necessary tone and voice for a variety of brands * Writing product related copy. * Consumer goods experience preferred. * Portfolio of published writing/collateral examples required * Track record of excellence in delivering on message quickly, with quality content across multiple mediums including web and social media channels * Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders as well as experience managing external vendors: PR agencies, etc * Experience developing and managing social media strategies within a corporate setting * Experience with product naming and packaging copy preferred * Experience managing a small team of direct reports preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills **Ideal attributes:** * A breadth of functional experience in Marketing Communications, including strong content development and messaging skills * Connects inside and outside the team: Team player/leader * Strong sense of efficiency: able to multi-task with good project management skills * Detail-oriented and dedication to accuracy * Maintains high standards of copywriting and exercising quality control on all copy * Creative thinker capable of providing strong thought leadership * Accepts and acts on constructive criticism to deliver content that satisfies stakeholder needs
