Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies to foster engagement among members and prospects and continually improve user experiences

  • Create compelling written and graphic content for digital properties, including building and editing web content, developing and sending weekly emails, posting to social media, and creating ads

  • Serve as in internal resource and evangelist for new and emerging opportunities to use digital experiences to support our work

  • Manage integration of content management system (CMS) with our member database, including managing relationships with associated vendors

Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience planning and implementing cross-channel digital communications strategies within a non-profit or association

  • Creative thinker, strong project manager and juggler, good communicator, instinctive collaborator, and a self-starter with a positive attitude, commitment to continuous improvement, and ability to thrive in an ever-evolving organization

  • Able to lead and implement projects throughout their entire lifecycle, mastering and executing everyday details with an eye towards long-term strategy

  • Experience using digital tools including HTML, CSS, content management systems (Sitefinity preferred), email marketing platforms, relational databases (AMS or CRM systems preferred), online measurement platforms, and digital editors (Photoshop preferred)

  • Results-oriented with a record of deep engagement, measurable outcomes, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, partners, and vendors

  • Well informed/educated about the ways in which other organizations are using digital media to deliver content to their stakeholders, including SEO, SEM, and online engagement best practices

  • Strong copy writing and editing skills Bachelor's degree preferred
