Experis in partnership with one of our top clients in Indianapolis is seeking a polished Backend Java Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining settlements and calculations within a highly regulated industry. You will be working on a strong team of experienced developers and will be expected to jump in and make an impact from the start. This role will allow you to work on a unique application in a fast paced environment.

• Designing, developing, and implementing a new web based application
• Working with a team of developers to integrate middle-tier and back-end code
• Designing and maintain Oracle databases
• Writing high quality, efficient code
• Working in an Agile environment
• Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel

• 3+ years of strong backend development experience
• Experience with Hibernate
• Efficiency with REST and SOAP web services
• Strong Oracle experience
• Experience using spring framework technologies (Spring Web, Spring MVC)
• SpringBoot and SPA Development is a plus
