Summary
Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. (E3), an economics and engineering consulting firm in downtown San Francisco, is seeking Consultants to join our team. E3 is a recognized leader in energy economics and policy analysis. E3 invests significantly in staff development including a 16 lecture internal training course. We seek to hire Consultants who intend to stay with the company for a minimum of 3 years.  E3 provides unique opportunities and flexibility for staff to develop professionally and to work on interesting, cutting edge projects.
Responsibilities
* Project management   * Client engagement and relationship management   * Superior technical expertise * Project research and information/data gathering * Technical and statistical data analysis * Developing models for analysis * Developing clear presentations of research methodology and results * Report writing and editing * Other project support as required
Ideal Candidate
* High degree of initiative and creativity for solving problems * Demonstrated career interest in energy, economic and policy analysis * Master’s degree or higher in engineering, economics or related technical field   * Three or more years of experience in energy-related field required; positions are also available * for more experienced professionals with seven to ten years of experience in energy * Prior consulting experience in energy a plus, particularly with project management and client * engagement. * Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills * Ability to write and communicate technical analyses clearly and concisely * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Power Point * Very high proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Proficiency in Python, Analytica or statistical software such as SAS, R, or Stata a plus * Ability to work independently or within a team * Desire to work in a dynamic office environment with 40-45 other staff
