Marketing Account Executive

(New York, New York)Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ESRT), a leading real estate investment trust (REIT), owns, manages, operates, acquires and repositions office and retail properties in Manhattan and the greater New York metropolitan area, including the Empire State Building, the world's most famous office building.
ESRT seeks a driven, highly creative marketing professional to drive sales and elevate brand to key stakeholders with focus on print and digital media.
Reports to: Marketing Manager with dotted line to Public Relations Manager
- Analyze and review the insights into sales performance on an ongoing basis
- Competitor monitoring to identify growth opportunities.
- Marketing, advertising and promotions-- developing promotional mechanics to increase sales, on approval implementing on time and within budget, follow-up reporting and further recommendation.
- Develop strong relationships internally and externally to make sure that creative campaigns sell hard within agreed brand guidelines to industry publications and agencies (both print and digital)
- Provide first class administrative support including putting presentations together and assisting in budget management.
- Ensure compliance to legal and best practice standards aiming always to take care of our customers as well as meet regulatory requirements.
- Additional responsibilities as directed
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in real estate industry
- Understanding of tools and techniques used in marketing/ sales with concentration in advertising
- Target driven approach to sales
- Copywriting skills a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of company’s marketing strategy
- Proven experience of managing performance of 3rd party sales channels
- Good at working as part of cross-functional team and proven experience of managing complex stakeholder environments
- Innovative thinking and ability to challenge accepted norms
- This position requires a working knowledge of inbound marketing methodology, paid search (PPC), content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), display advertising and social media. Programming experience is not required, but technical aptitude is a must.
