The Process Engineer performs a variety of Engineering assignments in the establishment of standard cost schedules for new and existing products to include labor, materials, packaging, labeling, and assembly of packaged products. Full and complete knowledge of all existing manufacturing processes and products and standard cost structure is essential to analyze costs and recommend improvements. Works closely with other engineers, procurement, manufacturing supervisors, sales, and marketing personnel to present products at the best cost position at required quality levels for further product analysis
- Develops Standard Costs of new products or re-costs existing products to meet customer requirements using manufacturing process knowledge.
- Confers with vendors to develop optimum materials and quality for new and/or existing products including finished packaging for best cost.
- Trains supervision into new process and packaging methods.
- Participates in varied engineering assignments requiring some evaluation, ingenuity and responsibility. Works under supervision.
- Confers with planning design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other consideration to facilitate production processes.
- Recommends changes in procedures. May be required to implement procedural changes that have been recommended.
- Addresses and identifies viability of ECR's, then subsequently issues the accompanying ECN's.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.

Core Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
- 0-3 years of experience
Preferred:
- Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
