Data Warehouse Developer

We provide services in both contracting and permanent roles for organizations – large and small – including Fortune 500 companies in the Northeast Ohio, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina areas.

• As the DW Developer, you will design ETL processes based on requirements for the data warehouse, business intelligence solutions and data integrations.
• Develop, test, implement and support ETL processes for data staging, extraction, transformation, and loading of fact tables, data cleansing, updating type 2 slowly changing dimension tables, automating ETL processes and scheduling.
• Write supporting documentation including technical specifications (source to target mappings), test scripts, test results, change control, implementation checklists, production support instructions, data models, and data flow diagrams.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and fix ETL processes and near real-time data interfaces.
• Process improvement: strive to improve ETL processes and Informatica PowerCenter development standards. Actively participate in team code reviews.

Requirements for the Data Warehouse Developer:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• Ability to construct Oracle and SQL Server SQL statements (select, insert, update, delete, create).
• Informatica 9.xx experience

Bonus Points / Not Required:

• Experience with Change Data Capture and real-time interfaces (web services).
• Technical experience developing informatica PowerCenter v9.5 processes using mappings and workflows.
• Experience using ANY of the following: SPSS, Oracle Hyperion Essbase v11 (EAS, EIS, Maxl scripts, load rules, calc scripts), OBIEE design and construction - logical and physical data modeling.
