Responsibilities

The control specialist will be working closely with the HVAC Service Group and the Energy Management Team to develop, design and install control systems to properly manage HVAC Systems and Building Utilities. Automation and DDC controls can show our customers effective and efficient operation of the building equipment, lowering energy usage. With a WEB based system Viox and end users will be able to remotely control building operation at any time.

Ideal Candidate

**Education**

* (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) High School Diploma 
* Completion from an approved State Apprenticeship Program
* Controls Front End Design, Programming, and Graphic Development

**Business Experience** 
(prior years work/related experience)

* 12 plus years in Direct Digital Control and Building Automation Control design and programing. HVAC experience in commercial/industrial service and repairs.

**Licenses/Certifications Must possess a valid driver's license.**

* Must possess a EPA Universal Refrigeration License
* Certificates of Completion in DDC and BAS systems such as Johnson Controls and Honeywell Controls 
* Language Skills Basic English-Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
* Technical Qualifications & Skills Read, Develop, and make changes to ladder-logic style programming. Direct Digital Control and Building Automation Control design and programing. Troubleshoot existing control systems, HVAC equipment and develop recommendations for an efficient operating system.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Johnson Control DDC design and programming
* Honeywell Control DDC & BAS design and programming
* Tridium Niagra training and experience 
* Control Graphic Design
* WEB base interface of control systems
* Project Management Skills

Education
