Summary
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a fast growing, highly successful medical device brand team working to support a life changing therapy and surgical device. This position will be the brand manager for patient and referring physician outreach campaigns and programs focused on expanding awareness of severe aortic stenosis and the transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) therapy. This is a critical role for the Edwards THV brand team and essential for the success of the therapy awareness and patient outreach, and will support other US brand activities and promotions as needed. This position reports to the Senior US Brand Manager for the Edwards Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) Business Unit.
Responsibilities
* Strategically drive and reinforce the therapy awareness and patient outreach brand strategies and identities in the US market * Develop and manage referring physician and patient brand materials (including promotion, sales, congresses, training, and education) including both digital and traditional platforms * Partner with cross-functional teams (Therapy Awareness, Patient, Product Marketing, and Sales) to implement and lead the execution of brand strategies and materials * Launch, measure, and maximize brand strategy metrics for print and digital advertising initiatives * Partner in the development and execution of market research projects to gain customer insights and competitive intel * Leverage brand insights to help shape marketing positioning and messaging for product campaigns and broader client engagement platforms * Cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders including global marketing, regulatory, legal, compliance, corporate brand, sales, and other business unit colleagues and leadership * Ensure timely and accurate completion of projects * Manage existing agency partner relationships in execution, design, and copywriting of materials * Budget management, invoice reconciliation, and reporting
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree * Minimum of 5 years related Branding/Marketing agency experience * Experience in medical device or pharmaceuticals required; experience in patient and therapy awareness marketing preferred * Demonstrated ability to plan new program/product launches and to support existing product lines/programs of moderate complexity * Demonstrated passion for brand marketing * Ability to direct agencies and partners * Proficient in digital and web marketing and communication * Strong decision making and prioritization skills * Ability to communicate through influence * Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, often under time and situational pressures * Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
