Responsibilities
  • Be the functional leader for Sales Compensation & Reporting and the primary point of contact for the sales teams
  • This is a manager role with a small team supporting our sales teams and connecting with the rest of the sales operations function, and other teams within Ebates
  • Support the equitable assignment of portfolios. Implement processes that facilitate growth of a sales team with minimal friction
  • Drive completion of sales forecasts, creation and accuracy of client reporting, and presentations in a timely manner
  • Responsible for overseeing sales ops functions including sales forecasting, productivity, CRM maintenance and improvement (SFDC), advertising and marketing creative, technical account management
  • Partner with our VP of Sales and members of executive team to create and maintain a world-class sales operations organization and sales culture by driving strategy, analysis and modeling to increase sales effectiveness
  • Effectively manage Sales Operations expenses to ensure delivery of internal gross margin goals
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations
  • Stay on the pulse of industry trends and ensure alignment of sales enablement activities with external as well as internal events
  • Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering) to develop effective sales strategies that promote sales to new and existing customers
Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years in Sales Operations (or equivalent function)
  • Proven track record in Sales Operations management at rapidly growing company
  • Strong project management skills
  • Results orientated with strong decision making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Expert in sales compensation planning and execution
  • Expert in sales reporting and analytics including systems like Salesforce.com and Tableau
  • Experience managing sales/support teams with demonstrated new sales track record and quota attainment
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively utilize CRM tools to monitor performance and effectiveness of lead generation
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development strategies and lead qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance team and individual workloads through effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Experience building and scaling a sales operations team
