Senior Processor

Earnest is a technology enabled lender that evaluates a person’s full education, employment, and financial profile.

• Serving as a processor for Residential Mortgages (Conventional, Purchase, Refinance)
• Consulting with our team of expert engineers and designers to build the best consumer experience ever
• Obtaining the required loan documentation to ensure transactions meet Earnest guidelines and preparing complete loan packages for Underwriters
• Independently handling a pipeline of loans and troubleshooting through the stages
• Working closely with Service Providers, such as Title and Escrow Companies and Appraisers, to obtain required documentation and proactively manage issues that could cause delays

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years Residential Mortgage loan processing experience with a non-bank mortgage lender
• Familiarity with a loan origination system such as Calyx Point, Ellie Mae’s Encompass, LendingQB and OpenClose
• Ability to maintain high work volumes and multiple tasks while maintaining the highest quality standards

• Have a deep understanding of the home loan processing workflow
• Attain a high degree of responsibility so be a self-starter and evidence initiative
• Be capable and experienced in working with a variety of third-party systems both to close loans AND help our team automate our processes
• Deliver approvable files to our Underwriters and ensure conditions are properly cleared
• Remain up to date on policies, procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the company and the broader mortgage industry
• Be passionate and articulate about ensuring our clients have a positive experience with Earnest
