Business Systems Analyst

This position fits into the Category Management Development team within the Information Services (IS) organization and is crucial to understanding and translating business processes to technical deliverables. Reporting directly to the IT Manager for Space Automation and Analytics, you will work closely with internal customers, cross-functional partners, and vendors to design, implement, optimize and support applications. Your customer focused, detail oriented and organizational skill sets will help keep the Category Management Development team and Gallo at the forefront of category management. Analytics:

• Love data? You will have the opportunity to take data, analyze it, and transform it into information, allowing you to tell a story in a visually unique method to improve our customer’s effectiveness
• Like your voice to be heard? You will be communicating with a broad cross-functional team and customers, recommending technological solutions and developing procedures to support the new workflow
• Like getting to the bottom of things? You will participate in eliciting high-level business requirements and consult with business partners to identify unique value drivers

Customer Development:

• You’ll have the opportunity to interact frequently with our customers, understand the issues they are facing, and make recommendations for a desired future state

Project Management:

• Like to be in control? You’ll manage small projects and tasks for internal IT professionals. Additionally, you will leverage your communication skills and provide management with status updates

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include document preparation -OR- a High School Diploma or GED plus 6 years business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include document preparation - OR- a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration
• Willingness to show off your intermediate level MS Word and MS Excel skills

What Will Set You Apart

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 2 years business systems analysis experience to include document preparation.
• Your intermediate level MS Office Skills (Project, Visio, Access PowerPoint)
