Software Engineer, Back- end

DITTO is the first subscription business for designer eyewear and licensor of its proprietary, patented 3D virtual try-on technology. Customers can rent an extensive collection of designer sunglasses and prescription glasses and create a DITTO, a video of their face from their phone or webcam to virtually try-on glasses to see if they fit and look great in 180-degree views before they select them.

• Help build our proprietary virtual fitting technology, which enables customers to virtually try on things before buying them online
• Develop scalable infrastructure for augmented reality in a cloud
• Create new algorithms and invent new product features
• Code it, test it, optimize it, parallelize it – we are obsessed with no loading times!
• Build tools you need and troubleshoot others

Qualifications:

• Experience in development of server-side applications in Python on Linux
• Familiarity with client-side web app development in JavaScript
• Solid understanding of internet fundamentals from TCP/IP to HTML5.
• Experience with AWS, shell scripting, and configuration management systems is a plus.
• Experience in C++, computer vision, image processing, augmented reality, machine learning is a plus.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or Math or equivalent work experience.
