Senior DevOps Engineer

DITTO is the first subscription business for designer eyewear and licensor of its proprietary, patented 3D virtual try-on technology. Customers can rent an extensive collection of designer sunglasses and prescription glasses and create a DITTO, a video of their face from their phone or webcam to virtually try-on glasses to see if they fit and look great in 180-degree views before they select them.

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years using Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/RedHat
• Experience with Debian Package Creation
• Familiarity with Software Repository Management / PPA creation - aptly, reprepr, etc
• Experience with major Configuration Management tools like CFEngine, Salt, Ansible, Chef, etc
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Python, & rubyHands-on knowledge of AWS, OpenStack, Google Cloud
• Distributed Storage Knowledge, S3, Ceph, gluster, etc
• Familiarity with Linux Kernel Hacking, building custom kernels, drivers, and backporting modules
• Experience standing up and administering monitoring and metrics tools like CheckMK, Zabbix, Munin, & Nagios
• Experience with continuous integration servers like Jenkins and Bamboo
• Familiarity with client-side web app development in JavaScript, CSS, & HTML
• Familiarity with Networking technologies like AWS VPC, OpenVPN, VyOS, Vyatta, TCP/IP, Subnetting
• Solid understanding of internet fundamentals from TCP/IP to HTML5
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or Math or equivalent work experience.
