Summary

Sales Engineering will be deeply technical with great customer skills, and know how to successfully work as a trusted advisor to ensure the success of prospects and customers. Will have a strong background in data & technology and have successfully sold and/or deployed Business Intelligence solutions. Will engage with business analysts confidently and succinctly and understand how they want to interact with data.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive all activities for our Global Sales Engineering team
  • Work with cross-functional team leaders to prioritize Sales Engineering deliverables
  • Work with cross-functional team leaders to align Sales Engineering strategy across the company
  • Partner with Sales teams to strategize how to sell into prospects and customers
  • Provide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirements
  • Present technical presentations to prospects, customers, and company associates
Ideal Candidate

The Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales engineering experience in a similar industry
  • Minimum of 3 years directly managing a sales engineering team in a similar industry
  • Minimum of 3 years directly in a Telecommunications/ Colocation or Data Center Environment
  • Proven experience in leading and completing cross-functional corporate initiatives
