Sales Engineering will be deeply technical with great customer skills, and know how to successfully work as a trusted advisor to ensure the success of prospects and customers. Will have a strong background in data & technology and have successfully sold and/or deployed Business Intelligence solutions. Will engage with business analysts confidently and succinctly and understand how they want to interact with data.
- Lead and drive all activities for our Global Sales Engineering team
- Work with cross-functional team leaders to prioritize Sales Engineering deliverables
- Work with cross-functional team leaders to align Sales Engineering strategy across the company
- Partner with Sales teams to strategize how to sell into prospects and customers
- Provide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirements
- Present technical presentations to prospects, customers, and company associates
The Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of sales engineering experience in a similar industry
- Minimum of 3 years directly managing a sales engineering team in a similar industry
- Minimum of 3 years directly in a Telecommunications/ Colocation or Data Center Environment
- Proven experience in leading and completing cross-functional corporate initiatives
