We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to fill a key role in a high profile business development group. As an Account Executive on the Programmatic Team, you will be directly responsible for growing current demand side platform and agency trading desk relationships, maximizing monetization across existing partner channels, as well as prospecting and onboarding new advertiser level partners who can help to drive incremental revenue for the business. Success in this role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing among multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail. This role requires strong communication skills as you will be working across business and product teams internally as well as managing relationships with key DSPs, ATDs, and programmatic advertisers.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain an account list while meeting annual revenue goals
  • Create advertising sales strategies, proposals, and presentations for core and new accounts
  • Engage and strategize with agencies and clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales programs
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships by conducting face to face sales calls and client entertainment
  • Business development acumen; the ability to consult with marketers and in effect treat them as programmers who are creating content that will leverage the power of their brand
  • Competency in strategic thinking and demonstrated success in working with internal and external departments developing successful sales campaigns is a must
  • Display a strong working knowledge of all different current forms of new media (display, mobile, video)
  • Employ detail-oriented project management and entrepreneurial skills to execute in a fast-moving environment
Ideal Candidate
  • BA/BS – an emphasis in Business or Math a plus
  • 3+ years of relevant online advertising experience required
  • High level knowledge of ad servers and tags as well as ad exchange environments required
  • Ability to problem-solve creatively
  • Strong proficiency with Excel required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and closing skills based on field experience with major accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and tell a compelling story around passion points
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
