DEG is seeking an experienced Marketing Operations specialist to execute direct marketing postal and email campaigns. The Marketing Operations specialist will be a part of a cross-functional team that supports the client’s marketing team in both creative and data execution. The position will also be responsible for operational level reporting on campaign results and other reports as requested. - Build & develop direct mail segments using “Customer Relationship Management" (CRM) software tool based on marketing manager’s targeting criteria of select customers.
- Manage the campaign build process from targeting selection to gathering response information for campaign measurement performance.
- Collaborate with multiple internal & external partners regarding planning and execution of direct mail & email programs.
- Learn and master the use of CRM campaign querying tool used in the production of direct mail campaigns.
- Attend meetings to provide input regarding direct mail campaigns and be prepared to discuss the status of all jobs in progress and any issues with suggested solutions.
- Follow, maintain and develop quality control measures in the building of direct targeting campaigns and communicate these measures to management.
- Monitor and report on campaign activities and provide relevant management information.
- Build, proof, and revise emails in SFMC and complete quality assurance checks on every email campaign.
- Deploy email campaigns to appropriate subscribers.
- Communicate with internal team members effectively to execute email campaigns.
- Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with business units and management.
- Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes.
- 1-2 years experience in marketing or related field
- 6 months or more experience with an Email Service Provider (such as SFMC, Cheetah Mail, SilverPop, Responsys, Listrak, Lyris, Vertical Response, etc.) is preferred
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management Science, Operations Research, or Marketing with minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Experience with SQL is preferred
- Experience with basic HTML (i.e. creating tables, links, and bolding)
- Ability to professionally communicate with end clients.
- Strong organizational skills and exemplary attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task and prioritize a high volume of projects and tasks at one time.
- Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills to effectively assess and communicate metrics.
