The successful incumbent for in this role will be accountable for the sales of xTime Marketing Services to franchise & independent car dealerships. Will be accountable for generating, maximizing and increasing sales revenue while expanding the client base within a defined/assigned region.
- Generate revenue according to the sales goal
- Introduce, discuss, present, and demonstrate key advantages of the xTime Marketing Services solution to potential and existing clients
- Build trusted relationships with decision makers at the dealership; Dealer Principals, General Managers, Internet Managers, and Service Directors
- Ability to Interface and interact with Dealers Staff, included but not limited to, Dealer Principals, Internet Managers, and General Manager, sales and service management team
- Uncover business development opportunities to propel company’s growth
- Performs other duties as required
- Predominately phone sales
- Some travel and in-person sales
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and at least 5 years selling automotive software (or similar products) to car dealerships
- Bachelor’s Degree preferable
- Knowledge and sales experience of owner loyalty, customer satisfaction and retention solutions or similar products used in the automotive industry
- The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the auto dealership departments and its processes with an emphasis on fixed operations marketing
- Must have the ability to present the xTime Marketing Services solution face-to-face with potential customers
- Previous experience in managing a multi-state sales territory is preferred
- Must have the ability to close sales opportunities and maintain a long-term trusted relationship with the customer
- Must have above average computer skills
- Highly organized
- Exceptional communication skills via in-person, phone and electronic methods
