Senior Web Developer

At DATA, we understand business communications, and we're expert at executing them. We help clients and agencies deploy unified marketing campaigns across multiple channels. We work with operations teams to automate and streamline document and correspondence management.

Located at our Ambassador office in Mississauga, this position is responsible for building custom web-based solutions for our internal/external clients that complement our print and mail, marketing, loyalty program, and fulfillment, call centre, and order/rebate processing services. Daily tasks involve analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven web applications, as well as troubleshooting software issues and providing day-to-day program support

• End-to-end, multi-tiered web application development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Database architecture, design, implementation
• Client/program support and analysis and modify applications to meet changing requirements
• Application systems maintenance (backup, cleanup, debug, monitor, update, and upgrade)
• Research and evaluate the viability and integration of third party applications/components

• Three - Five (3-5) years’ experience in similar role
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of computers and programming
• Strong knowledge and experience with MS application development tools (Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET)
• Experience using SQL toolset, database design, and administration
• Drupal & Decoupled Drupal application techniques
• Understanding of API & REST technologies
• Solid JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML/XSL, CSS skills
• Strong business analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven end-to-end development experience. Excellent communication, organization & analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must have a strong penchant for details and be highly organized
