CRM Assistant Account Manager

(Detroit, Michigan)Crain Communications Inc is a privately held media company producing trusted and relevant news publications, lead generation, research and data products, custom publishing and events with uncompromising integrity.
Work within the Corporate Audience Development Account Management team to support the different brand publications and products in achieving audience and revenue growth. Products include print magazines, digital replicas, newsletters, web registrants and events.
Marketing
- Understand each publications audience goals and assist the Director in executing the marketing plans to achieve desired results
- Manage subscription acquisition/retention/billing programs from creative development through final analysis
- Coordinate promotion efforts through print, online, email, social and telemarketing channels
- Constant review of data analytics to drive campaign ROI, performance and future strategic decisions
- Evaluate campaign performance and present ideas for improvement; manage campaign budgets
- Execute testing across all programs and platforms with the goal of optimizing each campaign’s performance
- Develop effective messaging and creative for online campaign including emails, landing pages, order pages and registration pages
- Inventory management of all print collateral – including monitoring stock levels, placing orders and managing budget
Database Management
- Track and trend audience data analyzing performance, quality, growth and ROI
- Database maintenance including uploads, queries, appends and data clean up
- Prepare and file audit statements based on database quality, quantity and audit requirements
- Work closely with CRM Operations and IT teams on various initiatives to improve processes
- Coordinate efforts through corporate fulfillment and customer service departments on all audience issues and initiatives
- Provide Sales team with demographic or geographic counts for various sales efforts
- Customer service as needed to resolve issues and provide support for specific customer concerns
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an account management or CRM marketing role
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Able to use both your creative and the analytical skill sets
- Detail oriented, with a process improvement and problem solving focus
- Ability to juggle tasks and meet deadline
- Experience in database management
- Solid command of Excel
- Good budget management skills; ROI focus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoys working with teams
- Demonstrate excellence customer service
