The ideal candidate will have experience in social media program management, strategy and advertising for consumer, lifestyle and/or food brands. New York agency experiences a plus. The candidate is a true team player with the ability to manage projects effectively, on time, and with excellence.
You are a great communicator. Your clients respect your advice. You manage complexity with ease, including multiple clients/projects/internal teams. You are detail-oriented, organized and use status reports, timetables and other tools to keep your team up to speed. You understand the internet/ social sphere and how to use all things digital to best engage consumers.
You will be the liaison between the agency and existing clients, acting as the primary contact for internal teams. You will report to the Account Supervisor on the CPG/Food social media team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing strategic and creative development, and a proven track record in growing and managing a brand’s presence via social media.
- Supervise day-to-day management of multiple accounts
- Maintain clear and consistent communication between the client and agency
- Proficient with social media listening and community management tools
- Strategy and execution of all social media initiatives and campaigns
- Identify target audiences and strategize content creation based on clients’ needs
- Manage creation of monthly content calendars across several platforms
- Analytical and comfortable working with and presenting data through monthly reports
- 4+ years of agency experience managing clients’ social channels across a variety of platforms.
- Consumer lifestyle or food experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or related field
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of social media landscape and trends (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Experienced relationship builder with strong team building skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and staff
- A positive attitude, adaptable, entrepreneurial, multi-tasker
- Effective communication and creative problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in managing numerous client programs with a blend of time management, leadership, team building, mentoring and client relation skills
