QA Web Developer

The QA Web Developer will be the eyes and ears on all things related to our corporate web properties. You’ll become part of an award-winning development team that is committed to building flawless digital experiences that represent a suite of companies under the umbrella of a highly competitive Fortune 500 company. Your day-to-day will be working across teams in Creative, back-end engineering and Marketing. You will be evaluating requests and collaborating with key stakeholders across individual web properties. Facilitating and simulating end user-testing, ensuring cross-browser and device compatibility, logging bugs in JIRA, tracking issues and communicating backlog to lead developers.

• Traffic: You will work with front-end development teams to manage throughput and project cue. Assisting with delegation, prioritization of resources along with scope planning will be part of your day-to-day.
• Communicate: You will help to facilitate communication between art, production and development teams to increase awareness around needs and opportunities for front-end development. You will be responsible for supporting recommendations with industry-backed research.
• Elevate: You will proactively raise issues early and often to development team as well as stakeholders across Marketing and Creative.

Required Skills

• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SASS, and Angular
• Understanding of cross-device compatibility issues and fixes
• Exceptional communication skills
• Must be able to self-manage time, prioritize projects and execute deliverables proactively
• Thrive in collaborative group environments

Experience & Education

• 2-3 years experience
• Project management experience / certification
• Industry engagement (working groups, jury, screening committee’s, award recipient, etc)
