Our customers use our product to deploy host-based network security, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, system access management and intrusion detection on a variety of cloud provider environments. Our customers will look to you for authoritative guidance and answers as they adapt to cloud-based security management and migrate their technology and businesses to cloud hosting models.

Responsibilities

Consultative/Customer Management

  • Engage customers to identify and document their business, technical and schedule requirements
  • Perform current state assessment and provide recommendations/best practices that address short and long-term goals utilizing Halo
  • Develop project deliverables such as: system documents, run books/process docs, executive presentations, strategy, architecture documents, workflows, etc.
  • Lead projects, training, meetings and working sessions as needed on each customer engagement
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, key stakeholders, etc.
  • Partner with internal teams (Customer Success, Product, DevOps, Engineering, QA, etc.) to provide CloudPassage’s full capabilities to customer
  • Identify opportunities for possible cross/upsell or expanded use of Halo into customer environments
  • Manage the engagement operations which include, but is not limited to: project activities, status reporting, issue escalation, run rates and utilization tracking
  • Proactively identify and work to remove roadblocks that impact customer adoption of Halo

Technical Delivery

  • Configuration hardening, assessment, and forensics experience with Linux and Windows servers
  • Host-based network access control and VPN technologies
  • Provide recommendations for managing software & package vulnerabilities, patching, and related technical & operational functions
  • Guiding customers in implementing host-based security strategies on a large scale across a variety of environments
  • Assist customer with implementing Halo intrusion detection and prevention (state-based, event-based, signature-based)
  • Remediation of a wide range of server and application related security issues
  • Educating user communities by assisting with production of security related blog postings, how-to-videos and answers to questions
  • Demonstrating our solution to prospective customers and working with them to demonstrate how our solution would integrate and add value in their environment
  • Assist new customers in the on-boarding process, both initial deployment and in some cases optimizing their configuration and assisting with operational integration
  • Assist customers with REST API integrations between our product and others
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong experience in consulting and professional services (Big 4 environment is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate technical details in a clear, understandable manner to multiple levels of an organization.
  • Customer-oriented focus with a strong interest in client satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology or concepts very quickly
  • Strong understanding and experience of Information Security concepts such as: Network Security, Compliance, Strategy & Best Practices, Incident Response, etc.
  • 5+ years experience in Information Security technologies such as: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management, File Integrity Monitoring, etc.
  • Systems administration experience managing Linux and Windows environment
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience assessing, designing and implementing security for Linux and Windows operating systems and their hosted application stacks (Apache,Nginx, PHP, Tomcat, JBoss, etc) is a big plus
  • Server virtualization and security issues around it. Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Rackspace, etc) is a big plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • CISSP certification or equivalent experience
